Brad Tandy is a seasoned professional who has spent over two decades honing his skills in leadership, design, branding, marketing, and customer engagement. Based in the picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake, Brad’s career is a testament to his ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking, driving business growth and enhancing brand presence across a variety of industries.

Brad’s journey began with a solid foundation in graphic design, earning a diploma from the International Academy of Design in Toronto. His early career was marked by his role as a Senior Graphic Designer at Caulfeild Apparel Group, where he led a team in creating innovative apparel graphics and patterns. This experience laid the groundwork for Brad’s expertise in both print and digital design, skills that he would continue to refine and expand upon throughout his career.

As Brad transitioned into roles at the North American Fur Association and Roma Moulding, he demonstrated a keen ability to collaborate with international teams and lead rebranding efforts that amplified brand recognition and boosted sales. His work at McCann Worldgroup saw him spearheading the design of a compelling 64-page magazine for Chevrolet, which was prominently featured at the Toronto and Montreal International Auto Shows.

In 2012, Brad joined Ecclesiastical Insurance in Toronto, where he made significant strides in establishing an in-house marketing department. Here, he steered marketing, communication, and social media strategies while ensuring compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). His Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training allowed him to streamline core business processes, enhancing efficiency in various operations.

Throughout his career, Brad has balanced his professional roles with freelance work, translating client visions into captivating design solutions for brands like Cheers American Spirits, City of Windsor, University of Windsor, and Rexall. His freelance projects often involved comprehensive identity programs and online presence initiatives, driving heightened brand awareness and engagement.

Brad’s commitment to education and industry leadership is evident in his tenure as an instructor at the Toronto Film School, where he empowered aspiring designers with both theoretical knowledge and practical application. His active participation in advisory committees and organizational roles further showcases his dedication to contributing to the design community.

Currently, Brad applies his diverse skills at Big Head Wines in Niagara-on-the-Lake, where he orchestrates memorable guest experiences through thoughtfully curated tastings. His role also involves marketing, social media, shipping, logistics, event setup, and club packaging, contributing to the seamless operation of the business.
